Midas Şehri or Yazılıkaya (the rock with writing on it) is a Phrygian city near Seyitgazi. It has this Temple to Kybele – a 17m high structure cut into the rock. No gold objects scattered about. Pity.

The most obvious thing in Kayseri is Erciyes Dağı .
I skied on it once. I ended up skiing down the competition slopes with armloads of jackets. Yay.
